Why Hugh Maguire?

Hugh Maguire has been Ireland's premier butcher for over three decades now. His passion and dedication to his craft are unparalleled, which is reflected in his products' quality. A master butcher, Hugh stands apart from the competition due to his talent for food craftsmanship and product innovation.

His curiosity and affection for working with pork, in particular, led him to buy his own smokehouse and manufacturing facility in Navan, Co. Meath, in 2016. Hugh intends to carry on creating one of a kind artisan pork items and is joined with his son Hugh Junior who will carry the torch for years to come.
