“Its tradition. Without a Christmas Fry up , its not Christmas morning to my family” – Hugh Maguire
The traditional Christmas fry up is one of my favourite family food traditions. Its something I grew up with in Bellewstown after working out on the farm, but also a tradition I have passed onto my own children. That familiar smell and sound , crackling away in the background as we all open our Christmas presents is so simple , but something that I look forward to every year.

Over the weekend, our infamous smoked black pudding was listed in the Irish Independent as one of Irelands top 30 food experiences. What an honour! However did you know, that when you are eating breakfast sausages from Hugh Maguires, you are also eating the best breakfast sausages in Europe? This is according to our award in 2012! Our streaky bacon also won bronze at this years Blas na hEireann awards.

You can even pick up a beautiful loaf of sour dough bread and a dozen free range eggs. Whatever your needs or preferences are , we’ve got it.
